About Us
Our Story
Henrietta Nkongchu Foundation (HNF) was established on July 5th, 2019 and officially recognized by the Senior Divisional Officer for Fako on October 29th, 2020 under registration number 13M/G.37/C.84/VOL.1/SAAJP.
HNF was born out of a deep desire to bring hope, dignity, and empowerment to the most vulnerable in our communities. Since its inception, the foundation has been focused on supporting the less privileged—providing humanitarian aid in times of crisis, empowering women, helping young girls access skills training, supporting children with school supplies, and promoting awareness through public speaking.
Why We Exist
At HNF, we believe in a world where everyone enjoys equal rights and access to basic needs. Unfortunately, many individuals—especially women and children—are denied this reality.
Today, young girls face sexual assault, teen pregnancy is on the rise, and families are struggling with poverty and displacement due to instability in the country. Women are suffering from various forms of violence—emotional, physical, and sexual—with little or no support.
HNF exists to change this narrative. We are here to restore hope, provide support, and empower victims to rebuild their lives. We work closely with affected women and girls, offering guidance, skills, and opportunities that lead to long-term independence and security.
We believe education is a right, not a privilege, and that no child should be left behind. Through school supply donations and targeted youth outreach, we are committed to creating brighter futures. Our support extends to vulnerable families, helping them regain stability and a sense of purpose.
