HNF embarked on a two day mental health campaign in partnership with other organistion.It was to
identify and help young people with any form of mental health disorder.
DAY1 All partnering organisation meet at the school hall of National comprehensive high school
limbe at 8am.The various organisation provided three volunteers each. They move into the
community alongside other social mobilizers sensitizing and referring young people to meet mental
health professionals who were stationed at a fixed post while inviting others to show up for the
workshop on day two. The sensitization and mobilization ended at about 3pm.
DAY2 All partnering organisation including HNF arrived the workshop venue at 8am prompt while
participants arrived at as from 9am.A welcome note from Dr Dorothy a mental health expart,who
spoke lengthy on the importance of mental health in our contemporary society. Participants got one
on one screening of their mental health from the health personnel’s present there ,those with critical
Cases were referred to specialize institution for follow up. Question and answer sessions took place
and finally a common meal was shared, interviews were taken and by 4pm everyone departed.
