THIS activity was carried out at the women empowerment centre in partnership with HNF.The
training started at 9AM with opening prayer and singing of the national anthem and the women’s
anthem. A word of welcome from the divisional delegate of the centre, who spoke on the
importance of women been empowered. He called on the attending women to take serious t
training. The training proper started. The technical team of HNF gave detailed information theorically
and practically on the production of peanuts. The women participated actively during the training
asking a lot of question and taking down notes for future use. The training process took over 4 hours
and end at 4pm word of thanks from the women who were happy for the knowledge that had been
given to them. Over 93 women took part in the training.
