This activity was done for three days in the month of February 2023 by women Empowerment center in partnership and sponsorship of Henrietta Nkongchu’s foundations and many other Organizations.
This activity started at 9am with a word of prayer on the first day from the participants. Followed by a welcome word from the Divisional Delegate of women Empowerment who enlightened the women on the important of women acquiring skills and being independent. Women were reminded that gone the days when their place was only in the kitchen for they have grown beyond that level. That they can become who they desire to become. The too should take cake of their families not just the men. It proceeded with the producers who started with the production of Liquid soap, L’acriox, Vaseline, and balm. Day 2 started with a word of prayer from a participant at 10:am. Followed by the recipeit and production of cakes and pastries like fish roll, fish pie, meatballs. Books containing the production of the aforementioned items were sold to participants, plastics sold for participants, items produced were shared to all participants. On the third day the participants sponsored by HNF choose to do a pastry business. Their items were bought (puff puff business) which were: a bag of flour, 5liter groundnut oil a packet of yeast and money to buy what ever was needed for awhile as concerns the business. The items were bought and transported to their various business locations, pictures/Shot interviews were taken. Follow-ups were done HNF project team after two weeks and later a month. Beneficiaries shared appreciations.
