HNF participated in activities marking the 16days of activism against gender
based violence on women and children. Activities kick started with a solidarity
match pass across the city of Limbe. All participating organisation and the
delegation of women’s affaire and the family turn out for this match pass.Day
two to four saw human investment carried out in various state, parastatals in
the city of Limbe from the central police station to the Limbe I council building,
the senior divisional officer. The rest of the days saw sensitization on gender
based violence to children of both nursery, primary, secondary and higher
institute of learning. Also youth groups and community based organisation were
sensitize on GBV and where to get help for victims and also where to seek
justice. The activities end with a symposium organise by the regional delegation
of women affairs and the family in Buea. All organisations present pledged to
continue the sensitization and the fight against GBV.
