The talk started at 8am in the morning with a welcome word from the president of CWA followed by a vivid presentation on climate change. The causes of Climate change, definition, its effect on our health and it’s effect on our communities or world wide today and tomorrow. Most of our mothers present were astonished to learn the constant felling of tress, burning of trees, bins and bushes could lead to climate change. They were also surprise to discover that the present extreme hot and cold, even infertility of our soils and floods were the consequences of climate change caused partly by us. Questions were asked. They appreciated the knowledge gained and encouraged HNF to come for more sensitizations. Pictures were taken with the project team and the session ended by 11am.
